Cheesy Beef Tortilla Wrap (No Rice, Quick & Easy)

This Cheesy Beef Tortilla Wrap is perfect for a light dinner, sahur, or when you want something filling without rice. Crispy tortilla outside, juicy minced beef filling inside, topped with melted cheese. Simple ingredients, big flavour ✨

Ingredients
  

For the Beef Filling
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • ½ cup bell pepper diced
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp mixed herbs or Italian seasoning optional
For Assembly
  • 4 tortilla wraps
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese or mixed cheese

Method
 

Step 1 – Cook the Beef
  1. Heat a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add a little oil, then sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  3. Add minced beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in bell pepper.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and mixed herbs.
  6. Cook until beef is fully done and slightly dry. Set aside.
Step 2 – Assemble the Wrap
  1. Lay one tortilla wrap flat.
  2. Add a layer of shredded cheese.
  3. Spoon the cooked minced beef mixture on top.
  4. Add more cheese over the beef.
  5. Fold the tortilla (half-moon style or full wrap style depending on preference).

  3. Option 2 (Air Fryer):
  4. Air fry at 180°C for 5–7 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
  5. Option 3 (Oven):
  6. Bake at 180°C for 8–10 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • You can add chili flakes if you like it spicy.
  • Swap beef with chicken or lamb if preferred.
  • Perfect for sahur if you want to skip rice.
